Caraya provides solutions such as transcoding, encryption and signal analysis and can operate either as a stand-alone device, or in tandem with existing equipment taking on the burden of compute-intensive media processing.

The affordability and scalability of Caraya means it can deliver packet-processing solutions very cost-effectively, for both large and small deployments, replacing several blades’ worth of traditional DSP-based solutions.

For both new and rapidly expanding telecoms operators, Caraya offers incredible performance at a fraction of the conventional cost.

For operators that have already made a significant investment in conventional media gateways and/or session border controllers, compute-intensive processing can be offloaded to Caraya, thus extending the life of the existing investment, and maximising return.

It is highly flexible, providing upgrades and additional functionality via software-only licence keys and modules. It can also be integrated into existing applications which run directly on the Caraya™ hardware.
