Our product range is growing all the time and we’re looking for bright, dedicated and enthusiastic test engineers with VoIP experience to help us get these out to the market. We’re looking for people who can not only test our products for robustness and performance, but who can also automate our test processes for the future. Some element of customer support will also be required.
Essential Skills & Experience
Candidates must have Linux system administration experience (not necessarily in the corporate world) and must be able to write scripts/programs in their language of choice (e.g. sh, Perl, Python). These scripts/programs will robustly automate complex tasks such as (for instance) starting a command-line program, sending commands to that program, receiving responses, verifying responses against expected responses. Good communication skills in English are also required.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Knowledge of VoIP applications (e.g. Asterisk, FreeSwitch) and/or VoIP & network test tools (e.g. SIPp, Wireshark) would be beneficial. Additional programming experience and/or previous QA/Test experience would also be useful.
