Howler Technologies is looking for experienced Cell developers to help shake up the telecoms industry! Bored of the games industry? Love working on the Cell? VoIP is the biggest growth sector in telecoms and requires massive amounts of signal processing.

telecoms industry. As well as developing highly optimised codecs for
modern processors, we are pioneers in the use of IBM's Cell Processor
to dramatically accelerate VoIP infrastructure.
Howler is looking for bright, dedicated and enthusiastic C
developers to help drive forward our development efforts and
revolutionise the soft telco market.
Essential Skills & Experience
Several years of in-depth C experience including threading,
sockets and optimisation on Linux platforms.
An ability to work autonomously and efficiently with strong UN*X
command line skills, scripting (Python/Perl) and Hg/Git.
Desirable Skills & Experience

Knowledge of IP networks, VoIP technology and related infrastructure.
Experience in signal processing and/or audio codecs.
Experience in optimising for SIMD-capable processors (SSE/Altivec)
IBM Cell development and optimisation experience
(bonus points for PPC Assembly!).
Linux Kernel development.
